The special pee food (a.k.a. prescription food for preventing urinary tract infections) that Teddy gets goes in my bedroom when everyone gets fed. It's the most expensive food, so of course, all the cats like it best!

They put my underwear in the food bowl just now. Que?[1] I am baffled as to what this means.

- "We love you so much, your stuff gets to be in the best food"?
- "We're going to kill you in your sleep"?
- "No food here! Only panties, ha ha!"?
- "Time to wash your panties"?
- "Time to wash the food bowl"?

[1] My first foreign-language-insertion impulse was in fact nani?, but que? just conveys so much more "WTF?"

Mine like to put my socks in the food bowl. Nate even drowns them in the water dish.

It's some sort of hunting/prey behavior, but what it means exactly (other than wet or catfood-smelling socks), I have no idea.

My cat Muirne always tries to cover the wet food I give her sometimes for treats. She'll drag over pieces of paper, dust bunnies, small articles of clothing, and whatever else she can find. I think she's trying to hide it so no one else gets it before she wants to go back and finish it.
