I went into my day job when I didn't have to. Serves me right for not checking my mail before leaving!

But something amusing happened while I was waiting for the bus home: a man pulled up to the red light with coffee on the roof of his car. So I called out "Sir! Sir! Your coffee's on the roof!" He motioned me over and handed me a Starbucks gift card. It was a fake coffee cup. :-) I really only go to Starbucks because I can walk to one and the people who work at that one are really cool, but I have to admit, it's a neat promotion.

That coffee thing is hilarious! Pretty creative. Though, I hate coffee and anything to do with coffee, but I have to admit that's pretty fun.

Awesome! I read about that in Adweek the other day, and I wondered how they'd execute it. So glad that it worked! What a great idea..wish I'd thought of that.
