AI stuff not serious enough to be called thoughts
No spoilers yet, just an observation.
I was surprised by how young and cute Gavin DeGraw is, and it sure seemed like Kat was too. Indeed, for the whole rest of that segment after they pointed him out she looked pretty poleaxed and distracted in that general direction.
So I made up a story in my mind about how Kat and Gavin DeGraw fell in love at first sight right then, and someone will introduce them after the show. Maybe Seacrest because I think that's the good-fairy sort of thing he might do. And they'll go on three dates and be all young and pretty and shiny-faced and cutely awkward at each other and then suddenly get married.
My characters don't get to their happy endings until the very last minute, after plenty of doubt and conflict, and I am having trouble finding mine with no helper-type person along for the ride, but BY GOD SOMEONE IS GETTING A HAPPY ENDING DAMMIT.
