(no subject)

I wonder if this awkward, achy in-betweenness I'm feeling is just the result of having never really been single as an adult.

I want to connect, but trying to force things before I'm done with solitude would be unfair to me, the other person, and what might have been had I left well enough alone.

I know this, but I don't feel it. I just feel restless and sad.
