The other day I was sitting at my computer desk when I saw something huge go by the window. It was a very large bird settling on the tree right outside. It looked like an owl at first, but when it turned its head, I saw that it was a hawk or a falcon of some sort. All white-and-grey speckled and really big. I tried to take a picture, but though my eyes can see through the screen on the window, my camera cannot. I watched him for a bit, and then he flew off. His wingspan had to be 6 feet.
That brings my menagerie here at the treehouse to: many wee chipmunks; at least two rabbits, who live under the bush in the front yard; a lizard or two; lots o' squirrels; and a bird of prey. I'm like freaking Snow White... if American McGee decided to revamp her too.

I just hope he doesn't start eyeing off your cats. Mom keeps out cat inside during great horned owl season.
