that's pretty much how it goes, yes. after all, near is not one to shy away from admitting he was wrong~ :D

you can minimize the amount of life-eating based on how many comms you join and stuff. i wouldn't worry about the amount of people playing your char already, there are always more slots in other games. who would you be most interested in playing? i'm sure i could play with you, unless you wanted to be near~ my suggestion would be to give [livejournal.com profile] dndressingroom a go. it's pure crack, and there are so many of each character that it wouldn't matter who you played. :D i know a lot of people badmouth that place, but i think they're all nuts, tbh. it's the best rp experience i've had in a long time-- drama free, cracked up, and absolutely no commitment or expectations involved. no one has to know who you are, either, so self-consciousness shouldn't be an issue...
