(no subject)

I just vacuumed, and the scene chez darkluna was thus:

Luna: on the bed with her ears back
Birdie: on top of the monitor with his ears back
Julie: crouched in "I'm really close to the ground, so I'm invisible!" pose on top of bookcase
Mona and Spike: lumps under the covers in the bed
Sterling: under the bed
Teddy: scrunched really small on the couch
Anya: sitting pertly in the hallway with "You want a piece of me?" expression

She really thinks she can take the vacuum cleaner. When it gets really close to her, she backs off a bit, but once I'm done with it, she's right there, giving it this "Until we meet again, worthy adversary" kind of look.

It reminds me of when I was training Teddy using a squirt bottle. I left it unattended one day and he went up to it and took a nervous swing at it, and, meeting no resistance, proceeded to attack and knock it over.
