The block party was fun. Decent people-watching, but the really cute ones don't like the sun, or crowds. They have some sort of secret hideout. Damn them. And something horrible had happened to my bar, such that the DJ there played J Lo (!!!) and later "Shout." Yes, the awful one that gets played at weddings a lot. *winces* My twin and I asked for our official Bad Juju song, that creepy little Second Coming tune with Layne singing, and the DJ was like "The what with who now?" But later there were bitchin' burritos. Num.
Can someone remind me again why I can't have everything I want the second I want it? It is a source of frustration. Perturbation, even.
