Dec. 15th, 2004 12:03 pmI'm bad! One of my Xmas gifts came from Amazon today, and I said to myself, "Self, Return of the King just came out, so that's probably what this is." So I very naughtily called Hed and asked if I could open it, and YAY, that's what it is! And there is an extra scene called The Houses of Healing, yeh! (That is my favorite-est part of the book.)
When you go to transfer music from CD to the MP3 player, it looks up the album info and assigns it a genre, and some of them are goofy. It called Amelia "General Unclassifiable." As opposed to?? I mean, if it were some kind of specific unclassifiable, um, it would be classified, yes? It has called The Rockfords, but no one else, Rock & Roll. Not regular Rock or General Rock (which is where it put Goodness) or Alternative Rock or anything one might otherwise think they are. I think that would make them happy. :)
I'm quite attached to this thing. It's like having all my CDs with me, on shuffle.
