(no subject)

One sad thing:

My little family is in Tennessee, and I'm in Seattle. :-(

But! Several happy things:

- I finished my Xmas shopping at last!
- I made chocolate mint fudge, and it's yummy.
- There is football today!
- I got paid!
- I found Tofurkey. It's not as good as the vegan celebration loaf, but it's still good.
- The kitties love to help wrap presents. They are just really helpful in general. If by "helpful" you mean "underfoot or in between me and what I'm doing." I can't wait to see the fun they'll have tomorrow. The wrapping paper is their Xmas present.
- My mom made me open one of my stocking presents when I got it. It's a funky swirly multicolored mug that says "Oy vey!" on the front. Hee hee.

I'm going to make the roasted-garlic mashed potatoes today, and do the baking part of the creme brulee.
