My February 14th

I went and had a yummy portobello burger at my favorite non-Asian vegetarian restaurant, and then got some bubble tea, to which I am addicted now. It is a beautiful day out there, but cold, and I'm pretty sure a little sprinkling of snow fell on my windshield at one point.

The hottie holding area must have opened up, because while the U District was not rife with hotties, I did see several more than usual.

My exciting plans for the afternoon? Finish up my tons of work, then watch my new InuYasha DVD (sans squeeing, thankyouverymuch ;-)) or try to write. Thrilling!!

Oh, would that I were a developmental editor!

I would make this book I'm working on so much better. This author is so wordy and uses such convoluted sentence structure that every time I see a single word highlighted in her chapter reviews, I dread to see what her comment is, because I know she's going to want to do something like change a nice innocuous little word like "game" to "game or contest, as it appears in the data model, that is, not as it appears in relation or proximity to a concept in the real world".

Exaggeration for comedic effect? If only.
