I was conversing with ChefBoy via the toy that's still a novelty for him (text messaging).

me: I ought to find some real boys to date lest I start only being attracted to the anime kind.
CB: Last I checked, I'm not Pinocchio, so I count as real.
me: Yeah, but you're 1000 miles away.
CB: For now...

Then he said that he wanted me to still be single when he comes to visit. In September. Then he had a brief swoon over the musical taste of some girl he likes. At this point my "If anyone needs me, I'll be in the angry dome!" icon appeared over my head and my fingers got tangled up in themselves trying to point out eight different things at once, the first seven of which involved the arrogance and annoyingness of him wanting me to stay single when he doesn't plan to himself (not that I do either), and the final of which was his totally crap timing in bringing up the other girl when he's the one who wants us to get back together. *growls*

Of course, if this is the way real boys are going to behave, sticking to fictional ones begins to seem more than reasonable.

The last of the fangirling, I promise. I am just puzzled. Some people on one of my message boards seem squicked by the idea of SC smut. Granted, I've only seen four episodes and haven't gotten over the hot, but huh?? Embrace the smut! The Anachronistic Glasses of Sexiness compel you!

And I didn't even say "Bring the smut." I said "Where is fic?" and that smut was in the range of acceptable. Not even slash, mind you. Tangent 1: I imagine that the people who saw Mulder/Krycek would also see Mugen/Jin; however, I really, really saw the former and don't especially see the latter. Tangent 2: I did kind of mean "Bring the smut." I think this is a Scorpio-rising thing: no matter in what medium I encounter someone nummy, my thought process is pretty much Wow, pretty. Now let's get him naked. (Heh, episode 2. *g*)
