I went on a shopping spree yesterday at Williams-Sonoma and Uwajimaya (and its attached bookstore!). I couldn't wait to use my rice cooker (fuzzy logic! hee hee), so I made some rice and used it in inari sushi. Yum yum.

ETA: pondering about fandoms and wankiness has made me dread my post-apocalyptic fairy tale ever having fanfic, because you KNOW people will write Mercy/Wiz incest and Donnelly/Valor um... what, exactly, would that be? Complicated masturbation? And they'll make Val a weepy uke, or else the Sues! Oh, dear lord, the Sues will get him, bless his contrary little heart. And I have a built-in AU, and oh god. *headdesk*
