They're one of those bands I tell everyone about in the hopes that it will help them make lots of money. :-)
They're playing two shows at Neumo's on December 16th and 17th. I'll probably buy two tickets to one of those. The first is with Pretty Girls Make Graves and the second is with Harvey Danger. I haven't actually heard either of those bands, though I have intended to check out both for some time. If I turns out I'm not dating this new boy, I may recruit one of you friend-type folks to go.
I had coffee last night with a very pretty boy who is nice and smart and funny. We definitely got along well, but I'm not sure his intentions are impure. At least, he did not indicate especially impure intentions. Could it be that he's a gentleman? We shall see. I am supposedly invited to his Halloween party tomorrow, though he hasn't sent me the invitation yet.
My monitor died and had to be shipped out to see if it was worth repairing, so I bought a new one with the intention of returning it if the old one comes back, but it's so nice that I might keep it. It's all bright and in focus!
I would have loved a flat-screen, but since the cats use the monitor as a launching pad to get on top of the bookcase and a cozy seat for looking out the window, I stuck with a CRT. I don't think a flat one would have stood up to any failed attempts to get on top of it and lounge or leap. (Anya is on top of this one as I type this.)
