I'm not sure there's any better boost to your ego than to walk into a house and be greeted by a toddler beaming from ear to ear and yelling her version of your name for fifteen minutes or so. :D
Awww, that sounds absolutely lovely. :) When I was working in a daycare center, the best thing that happened was when the kids started recognizing me and every so often, one of them would yell happily "ANNA'S HERE!!!" Made my day every time, until "I 'ove Anna" became the new sentence. That was the best ever.
I love how my nephew doesn't leave anyone out. Last week at Disney World, I was staying in a room with my parents, and Little Sis, Bro-In-Law, and the kidlets were next door. My nephew would knock on the door at like 7 AM and run in saying "Hiya Grammy! Hiya Bubba! Hiya Aunt ellie!"
