darklunaSomething woke me up at 8 AM this morning. It was either the absence of noise, because my power was out, or the bright white outside when one of the cats opened my bedroom curtains. It snowed!
I got up and took some pictures, and I'm glad I did, because after I slept a few more hours, the snow was almost all gone!

It was still snowing then. I called my mom, and actually sort of woke her up (this never happens; if I'm awake at the same time she is in the morning, it's because I'm still up!). :/ She was very excited about the snow, though.
I have a back issue of Vegetarian Times with about six soup recipes I want to make! I made some red lentil soup that was yummy, and today I'm making a potage with basil-walnut pesto to top it with. I like bringing home a bag from the grocery store with carrot greens and leeks sticking out of it. It makes me feel virtuous. XD
