I went to get more kitten food and saw a catnip octopus! Obviously I had to buy it. And of course the minute I brought it home and tossed it to the kitties, Anya decided it was HERS, and sat on top of it and growled in a very scary way at anyone who looked like they were thinking about taking it away. Hee hee.

If I think too hard about the election, I get paralyzed with anxiety. I'm going to be pounding the pavement for John 'n' John on Election Day itself, but I'm thinking I'll need people to hang out with to watch the results come in. Any Seattleites up for that? There will be booze.

Yesterday was a cooking day. I made my favorite lentil & sweet potato stew and some snickerdoodles. Yum!

I'm far from Seattle, but feel free to call me and we can drink and despair (or rejoice!) together*. I'll be huddled away in my office, using a glue gun on wedding centerpieces, drinking Amber Bock, screaming at states like Tennessee and Utah, and glowering at Mr. Whirled, whom, I think, has been coerced into voting for that Son-of-a-Bush. Wh-wh-what? Jesus.

*Come tomorrow or Thursday or Saturday, I feel you will be doing the latter of this while I will be doing the former, but for entirely different reasons. Wherefore is this Bambino fellow?
