aahhh ... there is the rub. Ryan is not a Frat Boy, and therin lies the main conceit of the show. He is a down-on-his-luck punk from Chino (which, I guess, sucks). But he had a good heart and a solid brain. Sandy (eyebrowed Dad) was his public defender and, though a long series of events, wound up being his guardian. So it is a fish-out-of-water tale, really. Very Shakespearian :-)

The full-of-herself brunette sucks ass, but she is supposed to. Not sure who said smarky fuck was - haven't watched last night's episode yet :-)
