I pay them approximately 6 times more than I owe every month because I'm trying to pay off my credit card and cancel the damn thing.

I'm about three seconds late with one payment, and they slap a $35 fee on me.

I truly believe someone sits there and watches when the due date is coming up, like a ninja eBayer constantly reloading, and slaps the fee on the microsecond the due date passes.

Yes, credit companies in general these days have it timed down to the microsecond--never in our favor--
the last fee I was billed was $29, I thought I was being robbed too. This is part of the Kafkaesque
universe we live in these days :(
