Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 6 weird facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. In the end you need to choose the 5 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs.
Having done one of these fairly recently, I'll have to either get more random or get more personal to come up with things most people don't know.
1. I realize that feeling like I have to lose enough weight to look vaguely presentable before I start going to the gym regularly is very, very stupid, and yet I feel it anyway.
2. After seeing Titanic a couple of times and sobbing for the last 45 minutes of it every time, I formed the idea that I must have been Thomas Andrews in a past life, or at least someone on the ship, because even though I often cry at movies, it isn't usually that ridiculous.
3. If my employer didn't mind me having another full-time job, I would almost certainly still have my other job, because I have Issues About Money in that I never think I have enough of it. When I was in France I went to look at Versailles. There were some Americans in front of me oohing and aahing and saying "I can't imagine being this wealthy." Well, I thought. It'd be a start.
4. The cat I call Birdie is really named Lewis Barnavelt, after the boy in The House With a Clock In Its Walls, because when I got him he was going to be raised by his crazy uncle Teacup (who now lives with my parents).
5. My real first name is Mary, but it is so purely decorative that if anyone uses it, it takes me several seconds to remember it can refer to me.
6. I used to wear my Rockfords t-shirt to bed.
I won't tag anyone, but do it if it strikes your fancy. :-)

Date: 2006-05-19 08:44 pm (UTC)Birdie is a very nice kitty. He loves everyone. Anya, on the other hand, is persuaded that everyone should love her. :)
