I went and had lunch at the wonderful Teapot Vegetarian House with raveninthewind, who proved her awesomeness, which did not really need proving, by bringing me boxes! I hadn't seen her in a while, and it was nice to catch up.

When I got home I brought the boxes in, and on one trip, the door didn't quite close behind me. Anya came over and acted like she wanted to go out, so I opened the door all the way and knelt on the porch in front of her and told her she wouldn't like it. She sniffed the air for several moments, then growled and walked away, clearly thinking "Take that, outside world! That's what I think of you!"

Her badassery was somewhat marred by the fact that she hid under the bed for a while after that display.

Heyla, chica. Any update on your moving plans? Maybe we can get togehter again before then, and I could bring you more boxes. :D

The movers are taking my stuff away on the 23rd, and my folks are taking me and the kitties away on the 24th. I'd love to check out that place we were talking about (Cafe Flora?), and of course more boxes are always welcome!

I haven't made an offer on anything yet, but there is a house I'm thinking about, if my parents go see it and approve, since it's so good I'm afraid it might not last.

I will be gone this weekend (from tomorrow till Monday night, 6/19) but would be willing to meet you in the evening next week at Cafe Flora before you leave. Or for breakfast on Saturday the 24th if you are driving away and are eating first.

I need to stay in my empty house on the 24th to await my folks and the car-shipping people, but any evening next week would be fine. How about you give me a call when you're back? All my phone numbers are the same as ever. :-)
