Jun. 10th, 2003 02:55 pmThe kittens were such sweeties! They're a brother and sister, five weeks old, all goofy and awkward with their legs and tails. They tumble over stuff a lot. They had just eaten and had fat tummies, and were busy playing. They're very social for kittens whose mom was a trapped feral cat.
I wanted to go hurt the original foster woman, though. She took in these two because she had a cat who was nursing, and somehow ringworm got into their house (the kittens are fine, though), and this woman had the mom cat put to sleep. Some people, I swear, should not be allowed to care for anything. I really, really hope it was one of those cases where the vet said "Yeah, OK, lady, I'll put her down" and then secretly cured the mom and found a better home for her. I've heard of this happening, so maybe! I'm glad the kittens got rescued at least and have a nice foster home now!

Jun. 10th, 2003 03:54 pmI have left the Land of a Thousand Tables. Now I'm in the Land of Insane Lists. If insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results, what is it when you do the same thing and actually get different results? The lists in this chapter break a different way every time I open the file, even though I open the file the same way every time.
It is really enough to drive a girl mad.
They're Schroedinger's Lists. If I didn't look at them, they'd be perfect.
