I came home this afternoon to find my street blocked off by police lines. Apparently they thought someone was holed up in his house after beating up his wife, and they were trying to get him to come out. We heard them shooting tear gas in for a while. Now my neighbors are saying the jackass wasn't in there after all.

I've got to get out of this neighborhood.

I get to park in my driveway again, which is good.

I was dead on my feet all day anyway, because my twin, her man, and I went to the Neil Young show last night, and I didn't get home until 2. Cool show, and I'm glad I went, despite being spacy all day today. A little sleep deprivation is OK for the sake of good music. Going to bed Real Soon Now, though. :-)
