Amateur roadie
Jul. 23rd, 2004 10:05 amWent to see AB with Miss
zinnea and had great fun. I think Danny was puzzled by my greeting him familiarly until I reminded him my hair was blue last time I saw him. If I thought it could stand the redyeing, I'd make it green or something for the Goodness show and really fuck with him. :-D
(In general, if I've met someone before and they don't seem quite sure about me, I can say "My hair was a different color last time" and have it be true.)
It was a good show. Danny is brilliant. I was happy to finally get to see these guys after hearing so much about them. They're nice boys, too. I always meet cool folks when I hang out with Zee, yay! We helped them cart out their gear. I admit, I feel extra-cool when I'm toting a guitar. I think Lusi (my lovely car) has a little crush on the drummer. He said goodbye to her by name, which is a sure way to win my everlasting approval. :-)
I still have that troubling urge to go for a run. I used to run track and cross-country, believe it or not. Then I started smoking. Oh well. I think I may take a walk around the lake. I ought to try to get over my irrational fear of going to Greenlake anyway. It's the Braintree of Seattle. (If you've ever tried to go to Braintree, or tried to leave once you do manage to get there, you know whereof I speak!)
The main obstacle to my having a harem of suitable comely boys is the lack of acceptable boys. My screening process may be too stringent, but you know, you really shouldn't compromise in some areas of life.
