Now I'm cool again
Dec. 10th, 2004 11:56 amAt last! My Social D dancing-skelly shirt arrived! It actually makes me want to go work out. See, I had one lo these many years ago, and it apparently wandered away somewhere between Boston and San Francisco. Trying to replace it has been a saga of bounced email, online stores going out of business at exactly the wrong moment, and places just plain not having it in stock.
I made some mommy-cookie dough to make cookies for the party I'm going to, but it tasted kind of weird. Not bad, just not right. Too salty or something, even though I followed the recipe, and my mom swears she puts the whole half-teaspoon of salt in. So I decided to make gingerbread cake instead. It's vegan!
I'm trying to decide if the oh-so-nummy boy who works at the grocery store I sometimes go to (i.e., not the one I can see from my living room) is worth making a move on. (He couldn't be more my type, physically, if I had placed an order. Tall, skinny, long black hair.) I really ought to start being attracted to the gainfully employed. But I like 'em a little scruffy and with long hair. The gainfully employed tend to be a little too kempt for me.
I really should have been here in the early 90s. My type of boy was thick upon the ground. *sniffle*
