darklunaLewis's ears are better! I have to give him drops, which he loves as much as you'd expect, but he's pretty good about it.
I was kind of an impatient brat the last time I took him to the vet, because I was away from my then-imminently-shipping book at work, and at a peak of hating the south (it comes and goes). So yesterday, they were extra-nice to me. The doctor had an emergency surgery and let me look in. I'm not squeamish, so I found it pretty interesting. They also had this teeny kitty someone had brought in for euthanasia, but they aren't going to do that. One of the techs is going to foster him. His little back legs are broken, but he's so sweet, and purrs all the time. I gave him love and was tempted to adopt him, because I am a huge sappy sucker that way.
So the work craziness has calmed down a bit, but my insomnia is still pretty bad. I can't really get to sleep before about 3 AM, though I feel tired well before then. I went shopping today for cleaning supplies and got some melatonin tablets that I hope will help me rest better.
Of course I came home to find I had missed my doujinshi being delivered. I swear, that fucking postman. (This is the same one who invariably comes by five minutes after I have decided he must've come by now and hiked down the freakin' Appalachians to my mailbox to find it empty.) They're supposed to bring express packages at the start of their rounds, so I had deliberately waited to go out until 4. >:( Now I have to go fetch it. FEH. At least I have new books and household stuffs.
Looks like no one's interested in doing a DN remix, so I have been pondering something else... :D
