Boys, You Won't by the Wrens. I think they have a patent on the slow build. Gah, I love them so. Give them lots of money!
Good Luck Morning by the Walkabouts. I think I say this every time, but this is one of the first "alternative" bands I discovered all by myself. Plus, they're from Seattle, so I feel extra-fond of them.
Labor Day by Goodness. Heh, this is the third time I've recommended Goodness to people recently.
Momentum by Vienna Teng. She's been my fic-writing soundtrack for long enough that the pairing for the first story I wrote with her songs on infini-loop was Ed/Hei. :D
The Drinking Song by Moxy Fruvous. I was super-infatuated with this band for a while right out of college.
Linger by Amelia. They're from Portland, but they sound kind of southwestern-y to me. I played the hell out of this album when I used to drive to work.
Eden by Guster. This is a Mello-y song to me. Yes, fixated luna is fixated.
