Must go shopping today. I have shorts, but they're old, and are all size 14 and 16 and not suitable to wear anywhere I don't want my pants to fall down. :-) So all I really have to wear is jeans, and the heat has been killing me.
Lots o' housework to do before the B5 kiddies arrive.
I still haven't written any fiction this weekend. Bad me!
I'm still sore from Friday. Lunges are the work of the devil.
Some talk on a mailing list reminded me of how my little sister and I used our bunkbeds as the main prop in make-believe. They made a really good Millennium Falcon, and a decent cliff for jumping off, because we had wings, because we're girls.
We had one game where we'd go around the room without stepping on the floor. There was a gap between my sister's dresser and our desk, but luckily the closet was there, so we'd stand on the doorknob, one foot on either side of the door, and swing across. We thought our mom didn't know, but she did.
We had a record player that could play 78s, and we used to pop the heads off our Glamour Gals (anyone else remember those?), put all the pieces on, switch on the turntable at the fastest speed and watch 'em fly!
I tried to be a grownup for a while, but it didn't work for me, so I quit.

They made a really good Millennium Falcon
You get extra cool points for knowing about the Millennium Falcoln!

I heard that! Couldn't agree more!
