I have this feeling that Colin Powell's gonna snap soon, and I just hope it happens before the election.

I don't love the guy, but I've always at least felt like he has a brain and uses it. And it looks like the Bushies are pretty much ignoring him every time he tries to be the voice of reason. I guess I should thank my lucky stars they're dumb enough to piss off people who can hurt them.

One of searob's friends in NC was friends with Powell's daughter.

From the sound of it, Colin Powell took the job with Bush Jr. as a favor to Bush Sr. (to "keep him out of trouble"), but Powell soon found out that he was more of a figurehead than an advisor.

Man, it would be funny if he went off on Bush Jr.!
