darklunaI have this feeling that Colin Powell's gonna snap soon, and I just hope it happens before the election.
I don't love the guy, but I've always at least felt like he has a brain and uses it. And it looks like the Bushies are pretty much ignoring him every time he tries to be the voice of reason. I guess I should thank my lucky stars they're dumb enough to piss off people who can hurt them.

Date: 2004-06-15 11:16 am (UTC)From the sound of it, Colin Powell took the job with Bush Jr. as a favor to Bush Sr. (to "keep him out of trouble"), but Powell soon found out that he was more of a figurehead than an advisor.
Man, it would be funny if he went off on Bush Jr.!
