Random movie thoughts that I meant to put in that last post...
Netflix is enabling me to watch all those movies I'm supposed to have seen already. I got Citizen Kane and was astounded by first of all the great one-liners, and second of all by the sheer volume of stuff the Simpsons has lifted from it word for word.
Another one I should have seen a long time ago: Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid. Wow.
Happened to see a bit of Spinal Tap yesterday. I've seen it tons of times, but the Stonehenge bit never fails to crack me up. At the same time, it conjures in me an entirely unironic desire to listen to Broadsword & the Beast. :)
