darklunaLast night I had a powerful urge to dye my hair brown, so I did. I went darker than my natural color, or so I think; as I haven't seen my natural color since I was 12, my guesses at it are necessarily conjecture. It's a color called "chocolate cherry" or "cherry chocolate" or something, and I rather like it. I almost wish I still went into an office, since making my hair a color that occurs in nature is just about the only thing I could do to it at this point that would shock anyone.
I think I can trace the urge to dye it back to seeing Eternal Sunshine, when Clementine said something like "I apply my personality out of a bottle" and I thought "Oh my god, so do I!" I started to wonder if I thought I wasn't interesting enough with normal hair. Then my hair wouldn't stay dark red, so I figured what the hell. :-)

Netflix sent me My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and it was very cute. Next I have I Capture the Castle, but I think I may be annoyed with it, because I liked the book so much that I want them to do it exactly right, and I'm not confident they will.
