Looks like we're having a party!
I think maybe not at my house, though. Too many cats. If people are actually interested in getting together for a World Series-watching party, I think we should congregate at a bar. One that has Knockando. Any Seattleites interested?
Last night--was it really only last night?--I talked to my little sister, my ex-husband, my parents, twice, and a DNC staffer who was really confused when I answered the phone "Hello, House of Joy."
You can totally blame me for jinxing it by saying this out loud if we don't go all the way, but if the Sox do win it all, I am SO getting a commemorative tattoo. Just a little pair of the logo sox with 2004 underneath, in the spot on my right ankle where Kokopelli is on my left. It would be cute. I don't believe in jinxes anymore! Glee! Woo! Aiee! It's a brave new world! And we Red Sox fans are kind of going outside for the first time, blinking, dazed, wondering what that big yellow thing is in the sky.
In unrelated news, DING 54. :-D (It's an Everquest thing, for those of you who don't know the lingo. Almost universal, but not quite. I was once hunting somewhere and someone annnounced his new level as a "boing." Hee hee.)
