...he arrived in time to fix my cable box before the game. I watched the Red Sox beat Milwaukee, did some cross-stitch, made a vegan BLT, and chipped away at my writing goal a little. A very good morning.
The roommate is out - hold your breath - apartment hunting! Yayy!
vamplover84 and I watched an odd, but cool, movie called "Storm Riders" last night. In retrospect, I can see where they had to abridge the manga it was based on to make the story fit into two hours. But it wasn't too hard to follow. I loved the characters' names and the names of their powers; they had that anime feel, where it could be a slighty goofy translation or it could just be a name that sounds cool. I'm going to have to pick up the comic at some point.

Date: 2003-06-08 09:30 pm (UTC)Dan showed up for a rding in car with boy session. The gorgeously sunny day and a full tank of gas impelled us to drive drive drive.
We ended up at Alki Point in West Seattle. We checked out the guys in shorts and sometimes no shirts, like the boy watchers we are.
Then Dan had chowder and I had jo-jos ((NW name for these yummy lightly battered potato wedges with the skins on).
On the way home I snagged a window fan for the bedroom because the basement monster has eaten the other window fan). I like the exhaust function for creating an nice cross-breeze in the house.
