Anyway, let's start the new year off right; The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Also, it's my birthday today. :-) I've decided I'll be 26. (Not to be conceited, but I look it. It's a benefit of having moisturized obsessively since the age of 22. And I kind of won the genetic lottery with a maternal grandmother who looked like this. I didn't inherit her beautiful features, but I have her to thank for my complexion.)

One True Pairing:

One True Threesome: Mello/Matt/Near

One True Crack!Threesome: Durrr. I dunno. My crack!fic, if I ever get back to it, is probably going to have Matt/Near/Misa. Hee. Or possibly something involving Sally. She is a magic car.

Canon fave: Death Note fails at canon ships, but I always find myself kinda hoping Matsuda will go find Sayu after it's all over. He does canonically like her.

Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it: L/Light

When all is said and done: I really just like to mix up the second-generation Wammy's kids and see what happens. I adore Mello/Matt, but I hate to leave Near out, since I love him with a burning and inappropriate passion. (And in a world where I felt noeven less shame, I would be up-front about the whole "I don't ship L with anyone, because he's for me" thing.)

Guilty Pleasure: I don't feel guilty about anything. I'm a perv. :D

Older/Younger fave: I'm intrigued by L/Mello, but I can't quite make it non-squicky.

My first: I started with L/Light because that was what I found when I first got into the fandom. I hate Light, though. The first fic I wrote was Mello/Matt.

I'm skipping the devotion!ship etc. questions. I don't really label ships. I either like 'em or I don't.

I used Origins for a while, but a couple of years ago, I found DHC (http://www.dhccare.com/dhc/), which rocks. It's expensive, but worth it. I like their ceramide and acerola stuff.

I usually just decide I'm as old as I feel, since if anyone asks me on any day other than my birthday, I have to do the math. :)

26?!? I am forever 17 in my head and I unashamedly try to look it.
My aunt's boyfriend recently remarked that he thought I wasn't even 30 which...made me LOVE him, seriously (cause I'm closer to that other "0" number). Moisturizing helps but good genes help too. My 93-year-old grandmother's hair isn't even all grey yet.

I've thought about this to the point that I've imagined what it would be like to, you know, try to seduce L and I just can't figure out a way to make it happen. He is just so, so weird. Which is why I like him. But still.

I'm smart enough for most things, but I don't know if I'm smart enough for that. But, if we assume I am, hmm. I'd probably have to know him for a while before I'd try anything. I'm not a subtle girl; I'm sure he'd know I wanted him. I might throw an "I really want to kiss you, but I won't. Yet," at him and see how that went. I do think he'd be more seduced by words and ideas than anything physical. I write pretty good sexual tension, if I do say so myself, so I might be able to manage to build up enough to make him curious. :)

Hee. I'm mentally about 17. I know I can't pull off looking like a teenager anymore, unless I don't smile so that no one can see the laugh lines.

Yes, it is hard to imagine. I think he's probably just not that interested in romance or sex. But he is a Scorpio. ;-) You'd have to seduce his mind first. If you could do that, you might be able to talk him around to it.
